Yes, you can set preparation and follow-up times in the respective appointment templates, for example to take into account arrival and departure for external appointments. In the General tab of the appointment template, the preparation and follow-up time is defined under the heading Appointment Duration.
The preparation and follow-up times serve to give you a buffer for preparation or to take travel times into account. The total duration of the appointment is automatically adjusted, while the customer only sees the time allocated to them and not the total time including this buffer. The system blocks the booked resource for the entire duration, including the preparation and follow-up time.
