It is possible to assign categories to all of your appointment templates. This helps you organize your appointment types into clear groups, making it easier for clients to understand what kind of services you offer and allows staff to manage appointments more efficiently.
You can also add descriptions, images, or internal notes to each category for better structure and communication. On the booking module, categories also improve the look and feel, making the selection process clearer and more visually appealing.
To create a new category, go to “Settings”, then click on “Categories” and “+ Add Category”. Now enter a name that clearly and concisely describes the associated services — for example, “IT Support,” “Wellness,” or “Financial Consulting.”
In the “Settings” tab of the new category it is possible to upload an image, logo, or icon for your category.
Under “Additional Information”, add a brief description to help clients better understand the type of appointments the category includes. Use the “Internal Notes” field to add any information that should be visible only to staff members.
In the “Appointment Templates” tab at the top, select which appointment templates you would like to assign to the new category. This is especially useful when managing multiple appointment types.
Alternative approach:
Categories can also be assigned directly within individual appointment templates. To do this, open the desired template via Settings > Appointment Templates, go to the "Settings" tab, and then to the "Categories" tab. There you can select and assign the desired category from the list.
