Dependencies of inheritance settings

Understanding the dependencies of inheritance settings is essential for effectively managing and customizing the software. This article will guide you through how settings defined at the organizational level are automatically inherited by other elements, such as appointment templates.

The following list illustrates where you can configure specific options. The highest-level element is shown on the left, demonstrating how its values are inherited by subordinate elements. At any stage, you have the option to override inherited values with your own.

For instance, an address defined at the organizational level can be inherited by an appointment template. However, you also have the flexibility to enter a unique address directly within the appointment template, independent of the organization's settings.

The address in an appointment template has additional flexibility: it can be inherited from customer information within the system, entered during the booking process, or derived from a booking resource. When using the address of a booking resource, the address of the first booking resource is selected by default.
