Introduction
This article describes which functions are possible in Microsoft Outlook and their behavior within the calendar, as well as the events of bookingtime.
To ensure that e-mails are sent for the appropriate events for certain functions, e-mail templates may need to be assigned or activated.
If appointments have been deleted, extended or moved in the past, no e-mail will be sent.
Deleting appointments
If an appointment is deleted in Outlook, it is also deleted in the bookingtime software. and an e-mail will be sent to the customer.
If no e-mail has been sent, please check your appointment templates and the assigned e-mail templates. You can find more information on e-mail and SMS templates for appointment templates here.
Extend appointments in Outlook
It is possible to extend or shorten the time period of an appointment with the mouse.
The data is synchronized with the bookingtime software, but no e-mail is sent.
Move appointments
Appointments can also be moved in the calendar using "drag and drop".
The change is synchronized and an "AppointmentMove" e-mail will be sent. The customer is therefore notified of the appointment update.
No messages or actions will be performed for changes made in the past.
